Disclaimer of Liability
Every effort is made to ensure quality service. However, Meif Tech Solutions shall not be held liable for any data loss, hardware/software damage, or other incidental, consequential, or indirect damage resulting from services provided. Meif Tech Solutions will use precautions to keep your device, parts, and data safe while in service, but is not responsible for hardware or software failure our of our control. All services are performed at the customers own risk, and no member of Meif Tech Solutions shall be held responsible if hardware or software are damaged despite all precautions being taken.Â
Data Loss Disclaimer
The customer is solely responsible for backing up data before service. Meif Tech Solutions is not responsible for data lost or damaged during or after service.
Warranty Disclaimer
All repairs are provided "as is", and include no express or implied warranty. Any limited warranty provided by Meif Tech Solutions will be provided in writing at the time of service.
Right to Modify Disclaimer
Any modifications, overclocking, repairs, and other changes might void manufacturer warranties, and are done at the customer's risk. Meif Tech Solutions assumes no responsibility for damage or loss of warranty caused by modifications requested by the customer. By requesting work on a device, you confirm that you have ownership of the device, and the authority to have it modified. Meif Tech Solutions is not responsible for charges, penalties, or other results of modifying devices owned by someone other than the customer. The customer assumes all responsibility for modifications made to the requested device.
Software & Licensing Disclaimer
Meif Tech Solutions will not install or work with unlicensed, pirated, or illegally obtained software. Customer are responsible for providing valid software licenses for desired installations.
Payment & Refund Disclaimer
Payments for parts and materials for a service must be completed before services begin. Payment for services are due at the completion of the service, at which point all items held will be returned to you. Due to the nature of the services, all sales are final and non-refundable, except for where required by law or specified by Meif Tech Solutions in your estimate.
Right to Refuse Service
Meif Tech Solutions reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including but limited to unsafe working conditions, suspected illegal activity, or abusive or otherwise harmful behavior. In the case that service is stopped in the middle of a order, the service will concluded, any devices reassembled, and a bill provided for any work done up until that point. Once services have been paid for up until the point of stopping work, all paid for parts, serviced devices, and other belongings will be returned.
Conclusion of Service Disclaimer
Upon the conclusion of a provided service, and the return of belongings, the customer re-assumes all responsibility for the devices and parts, their use, and their condition. The customer is responsible for all device activity prior to the start of services, and after the conclusion of services. Devices are confirmed to be functional before return. Please report any issues with services within 72 hours so action can be taken to partially or fully fix identified mistakes.
